Tear

A teardrop was resting deep down in his eyes
Asleep in the dark, unaware of the rise
It lived in the abyss of an ocean so blue
Just waiting in silence, not knowing what to do
Then out of the blue came an awkward display
A storm of emotions that washed it away
The sky turned to black as the feelings broke through
A sudden eruption, a violent debut
A flick of the lashes, his hand starts to shake
The tear finally falls, the foundation will break
The tear is rolling down, falling fast down the cheek
