Too Much

Too kind.
Too true.
Too much of everything I do.
Maybe you gave until your hands ran dry.
Told the truth and watched them say goodbye.
Stayed so quiet, nobody learned your name.
Smiled through it all, they called it a game.
Every yes you gave cost you some sleep.
Forgave again and it cut ran deep.
Nobody said the good can cut you too.
Now you're wondering what's left of you.
I poured it out, never kept a drop.
Now I'm learning when to stop.
Too much, too much, it wears me slow.
