Black Shadows

Black shadows falling, long shadows crawling.
Lost in the woods where the wrong paths are calling.
Guard your soul safe while inside it remains.
Sunlight has died, and the cold wind complains.
Blind hag, the moon gazes down from on high.
Who has the answer to what she seeks?
Why? Keep the hearth fire burning bright.
Shield your eyes against the night.
For when the phantom horn is blown,
the forest claims what is its own.
Listen not to whispers call.
Listen, to the dark you fall.
